UpGrade Ohio is partnering with Ohio University Credit Union to accelerate the drive toward alternative fuels through a unique loan program for car buyers – the EV Loan Program.
Local residents who live or work in Athens County can take advantage of 0% loans when they purchase a hybrid electric vehicle look forward, plug-in hybrid, or all-electric vehicle. The program is available through June 8, 2017.
The EV Loan Program features:
- 0% loans on 60 different hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or all-electric vehicles
- no prepayment penalties
- no application fee/prepaid finance charge
- easy application process through the CATS Online homebanking system
- GAP protection
Thanks to its ongoing partnership with OUCU, UpGrade Ohio is the primary outreach organization for the EV Loan Program. UpGrade provides informational outreach, general awareness of EVs and support through the EV Cruisers Club, the region’s only EV auto club.
